“I have had acne my whole life. At fourteen I went on birth control — not for birth control, but because it was the only thing anyone offered me that made my skin calm down. Years later I was still scrolling past perfect routines built out of a hundred products, and not one of them was built for a face like mine.
“So I stopped waiting for it and made it. It took three years before the first tube shipped, and the formula came back seven times before I would sign off on it. I was not going to put my name on something that only half worked.
“noviembre is November in Spanish. It is the month I was born, and it is what this has been for me — a rebirth. I still do all of it myself: I stamp the totes and the headbands on my own Cricut, at my house, one at a time.
“There is more coming. But the part I actually care about is the room: women with space to think differently and say what they want out loud. That is what I want this to be big for.”
